The Mercedes-Benz Arena, situated in Stuttgart and home to VfB Stuttgart, boasts a significant capacity of 60,441 spectators. Notably, owing to its proximity to Switzerland, the stadium has been host to seven friendly international matches between Germany and Switzerland since 1911. After the conclusion of World War II, the venue held Germany's first post-war match, as well as the initial match following the reunification of Germany, both against Switzerland.

Previously, the stadium featured two video walls of 115 square metres each, which were the largest in Europe at the time. Following its reconstruction, the present stadium houses two video walls distinguished by the highest resolution in Europe.

The Mercedes-Benz Arena has also been the site for various sporting events. The venue hosted the European Athletics Championships in 1986, where Yuriy Sedykh achieved a world record in the hammer throw. Additionally, it hosted the World Athletics Championships in 1993. Notable international matches during the World Cup in 1974, including Poland vs. Argentina, Argentina vs. Italy, Poland vs. Italy, and Sweden vs. Poland, were also held at this iconic stadium.
