Visit Mallorca Stadium, Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Nestled in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium stands tall as the largest stadium in the Balearic Islands, housing the Mallorca team. Boasting a capacity of 23,142, it's renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, pulsating with excitement during Mallorca's matches. Beyond the thrilling displays by Mallorca, this venue has hosted noteworthy international encounters, including Spain's clash against Belarus in 2013, a pivotal qualifier for the 2014 World Cup, which Spain clinched 2-1.
Interestingly, following the Covid-19 pandemic, the stadium underwent a temporary name change. Known as Visit Mallorca Stadium for two years, this transformation was part of a collaboration between the venue and the Consell de Mallorca, aimed at revitalising tourist activities across the island.
