Juventus Stadium, Turin, Italy
Juventus Stadium, known as the Allianz Stadium since July 2017 for sponsorship reasons, is an all-seater football stadium located in the Vallette borough of Turin, Italy. It serves as the home ground for Juventus F.C. The construction of the stadium took place on the site of the club's former ground, the Stadio delle Alpi, during the latter part of the 2000s. Juventus Stadium is a significant landmark as the first club-owned modern football venue in Italy. It is one of only four stadiums in the country accredited with UEFA Category 4, signifying the highest technical level in UEFA's Stadium Infrastructure Regulations. The other three stadiums with this distinction are the San Siro, the Stadio Olimpico di Roma, and the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
Juventus played its inaugural match at the stadium on September 8, 2011, in a friendly against Notts County, the world's oldest professional football club, which ended in a 1–1 draw with Luca Toni scoring the first goal. The first competitive match took place three days later against Parma, with Stephan Lichtsteiner scoring the stadium's first competitive goal in the 16th minute. Remarkably, Juventus only lost three of their first 100 league matches at Juventus Stadium.
